Perspective Shift: A Different Point of View

A few weeks ago, we were flying to minister in Idaho, and like many, I love the window seat to see all the beautiful views. We were going out northwest with the stunning mountain views. As we were flying, the Lord spoke a phrase to my spirit. “Get a heavenly perspective.”

Immediately, I began to get this revelation from God about what I needed in my life, and possibly what you may need to…. a heavenly perspective. A perspective that allows you to rediscover possibilities again.

We all know when we are on ground level, we can only see specific routes and ways of doing things. The routes and ways to get from point A to point B are limited to what you can practically see. But when we reach a higher level, where you can see the possibilities of what can happen, your solutions become infinite.

It’s just like that in your life…on ground level or in the natural, you might not be able to understand the way out or how God will make a way through this. And that’s why He says in Isaiah 55:8-9,

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.

“And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.

For just as the heavens are higher than the earth,

so my ways are higher than your ways

and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.”

God is making a way where there seemed no way; you just need a perspective shift. You need to get heaven’s perspective on the situation or circumstances. When you get a heavenly perspective, the road and path are clear, you will have fresh vision, you will see the possibilities again, and you will have faith and hope again!

The impossibilities become possible when you shift your perspective. Only God can give you this. It’s His Word that makes it possible. Peter didn’t walk on the water; he walked on the Word. Just like Peter, you can go past the natural limitations when you stand on the Word of God and have heavenly eyes looking at your situations and circumstances.

If you need this shift, I encourage you to get in the place of prayer and the Word of God and ask for His perspective and His answer to your situation. He won’t let you down. He can give you a fresh vision and perspective. He can bring hope and restore your faith. All you have to do is allow Him to retake a hold of your vision and let Him show you what He sees.
